Is peel & stick easy to remove and safe for rentals or dorms?
Our peel & stick materials are damage-free and easy to remove when it's time for a change or you need to move. Start at the corner of each panel and peel your wallpaper cleanly off the wall.
Is glissade easy to remove and safe for rentals or dorms?
Our glissade traditional wallpaper is intended to be semi-permanent. If removal is necessary, peel a small part of the corner back. With a spray bottle, continually wet the wall and back of the panel to reactivate the adhesive, allowing the panel to be removed from the wall. When finished, clean with warm water and soap.
Can I install in a children’s room or nursery?
We recommend using our Smooth wallpaper material in children's rooms and nurseries as it is easy to clean. We recommend closely following our included wall-prep and installation instructions.
Can I install this wallpaper on textured walls?
If you have a textured wall, we highly recommend ordering samples of any of our materials before purchasing. Our wallpapers will stick to lightly textured surfaces, but textures may show through.
Can I install in a kitchen or bathroom?
If installing in a kitchen, bathroom, or somewhere that can get dirty, we strongly recommend using our smooth wallpaper! It cleans easily with a damp cloth and is water-resistant.
Does your material have a texture?
Our Woven material is fabric-based and has a subtle linen-like matte texture. Our Smooth material is vinyl-based with a semi-matte finish. Lastly, our Glissade material is paper-based, 96% opaque, and has a matte finish. We recommend ordering samples of any materials to see which you enjoy most.
How do I prepare my walls for installation?
Prepping your walls will ensure your wallpaper adheres well and doesn't form bubbles. Patch any holes and sand down any bumps. Clean the wall with 70% isopropyl alcohol mixed with 30% water. Let the wall dry, and then repeat up to 3 times.
Does it matter what paint I have on my walls?
If you painted recently, let the paint dry for 30 days to prevent bubbles or peeling. We do not recommend installing over matte paint or high VOC paint. To test unknown paint, install one panel and wait two weeks before finishing your installation.
How do I measure my wall or room?
To ensure a seamless repeat, you'll want to measure the total height and width of the area you wish to wallpaper and enter that size when you order. Breaking up your order into different roll heights may result in your pattern not lining up. Learn more here.
Do you offer traditional pasted wallpaper?
Yes. You'll want to order our glissade material.
Do your panels overlap?
Our Smooth and Woven materials overlap by 1 inch to aid in aligning each panel. Our Glissade is a butt-join and meets end-to-end.
Can you color-match any major paint brands?
Regrettably, we can't color-match any paint brands. However, with any sample order, you have the option to order a sample of large swatches so you can determine the best color for your space.
What is the vertical repeat of a given pattern?
We don't have a standard vertical repeat, and some of our patterns don't repeat vertically at all. If you have questions on a specific template, please contact us.
How big are your rolls?
Unlike most companies, we don't sell our wallpaper in rolls. Instead, orders are fulfilled in panels. Each panel has a finished size of 24 inches and will range in height from 3 feet tall to 12 feet tall.
How much is each panel?
Each panel is priced by the square foot. Our Smooth wallpaper is $3.75 per square foot, Glissade is $4.25 per square foot, and Woven is $4.75 per square foot.
What if I have a problem with my order?

Many people can feel intimidated with the thought of a wallpapering project. The look and ease of the wallpaper we purchased from Love&Design made it worth the challenge! We purchased the Pretty Peonies Paper for our dining room and it turned out beautifully! We are so thrilled :-) Although this wallpaper is pricey, you are getting a very high quality product that is not only lovely (and custom), but very easy to work with. Any questions I had were promptly responded to via email. L&D will send you your paper in long sheets number (1&2) to easily match the repeat of the pattern. The Pretty Peonies requires you to have a meticulous match, but the ease of working with the paper makes this very easy and forgiving (even if you can't match it perfectly). The corners were the only part we found very difficult to work with, and that's because the paper is so thick. Overall, if you're thinking about wallpapering, go with HIGH QUALITY paper such as Love&Design. Highly recommend it!

This was such a fun project and the wallpaper elevated the look of my kids bathroom. I used Pretty Peonies design and personalized it changing its colors to egret and white. I also chose the woven finish. I added the wallpaper to the top of board and batten moulding, got a new mirror, new towel hooks, new light fixture, and with those small updates the bathroom looks amazing!

I am using this wallpaper for DYI art projects creating panels. I love both designs and the ability to choose my colors. The process was easy. Definitely order a few samples before buying rolls. I ordered 2 samples of the Pretty Peonies design w/different colors. From their I was able to take what I liked from each of the designs to get the specific colors I liked.
